Our shop is located in the heart of the Crystalbrook Superyacht Marina building, a great location with views across the boats and the coastline. There is quick and easy access to Wavelength, plenty of free all day parking, other shops and a couple of restaurants.
If you e-mail, call, or drop in, our friendly shop crew can help with questions about the reef, weather, tides, choosing the best day to go out, and the most suitable boat for your needs and experience if you aren’t sure yet.
As long time locals we can provide advice and bookings for other local tours such as rainforest trips, river cruises, horse riding, sunset sails, reef cruises and Skyrail/Kuranda Rail trips.
We have a reading area with reference books to learn more about the reef or identify that mystery fish you have seen.
We stock Go Pro cameras and accessories, reef and marine biology books, T-shirts, hats and even pens made from recycled bottles.
We even have a fantastic range of beach bags and sandals called Jozzii. We have these hand made in Kenya at a craft workshop to provide jobs and training in an area with lots of poverty and part dependence on unsustainable subsistence reef fishing. The money raised goes to education in the same area to try to help provide more diverse opportunities for the future.
Our full day snorkel tours visit three outer reef sites, each day. The skipper picks these on the day, from our wide selection of exclusive outer reef moorings. Our aim is to show you the best reef, and the diversity of reef types.More Info
Wavelength employs qualified marine biologists as crew, in order to offer a high level of interpretation of the Great Barrier Reef. They provide guided snorkel tours and reef talks.More Info
